Marche Region approved the Regional Plan of Adaptation to Climate Change (RPACC) as required by the Regional Sustainable Development Strategy in Action B.5.1.
The RPACC describes the Region's climate situation, analyzes vulnerabilities related to the main factors, and proposes adaptation measures to be considered both across the board and for individual sectors.

The RPACC has incorporated the observations of the reasoned opinion on the Strategic Environmental Assessment (Decree of the Director of the environmental assessment and authorization Sector no. 151 of 06/27/2023).
In order to encourage participation in the formulation of public policies, as part of the Strategic Environmental Assessment consultation, the following meetings have been organized:
• 21st February 2023 a seminar/workshop (online) and 21st March 2023 an open info day (mixed mode: presence and online). Both were attended by representatives of various institutions, including the academic world, professional associations, managers of sites of community interest, and public bodies which took part in the discussion.
• 31st March 2022 a webinar presenting the activities planned for the definition of the Plan. This webinar was extended to subjects competent in environmental matters as well as to employees of Marche Region who interact with this Plan.
